I am in awe and am also deeply jealous of the amazing talent that lives in Ansel Adams photos. It’s just…It’s completely..I have no usable or recognizable sentences to describe.
Sigh*
“Jeffrey Pine – Sentinel Dome” Vintage Gelatin Silver Print Neg: 1940 Print: 1940 6 3/4 x 9 1/4 inches Signed in pencil on recto of mount.
Dude, you do not want to know how much this costs to buy..(lets just say I cannot afford it, unless it was a print copy)
With my deep love and affection for trees, I am just plain loving the shadow and light, not to mention the emotional output of growth, coming from this photo. The tree just seems like it is guarding the cliff. As if it has been there centuries and will continue to sit sentinel–(which makes me gasp because I only just spotted sentinel used in the description) Great minds think alike. I wish I was this good.

You actually produce some very good photographs from time to time, keep at it.
Thanks! I hope to!
