OMG!! I just read a comment posted by Cremelloquarterpony (hopefully I spelled that correctly) and was intrigued enough to check out her blog..OMG! It was lovely! It would seem she is single and dating, what I found most entertaining is that not only does she talk about her experiences on each date, she names the men according to horse types, since she clearly has a love and affection for all things horsey ( Loving horses should be a law!) I love that she is so willing to share her take on the dating scene, and that she depicts herself with humor, people who can see the humor are peoples I want to know! Do I need to say I will be reading her blog frequently?
As you know I am also single, but I am not brave enough to actually date. Cremelequarterpony just may give me so good tips I could use! (Big grin)
Bekki

XD
I am glad you like it!
The website is a tool, it gives me a reason to go on dates because the worse they are, the funnier the content!
I would encourage you to do the same!
If you’re not brave enough to date, how will you meet and get to know your Mr. Wonderful? Inquisitive minds would like to know….
I didn’t say I would not date..just that I will not go to a dating service..I am open to anyone asking me on one..
I follow the rule of 5
1) Must have a nice smile.
2) Must love dogs
3) Must know what the word gentleman means.
4) Must know what the word NO means.
5) Must read actual books.
That looks like a “Woman seeking Man” Craigslist ad post (for your local area) right there!
Whaddya say?!?!?
I just came across your response to cremelloquarterpony and I just read that post as well because she commented on one of my entries..
It was pretty funny, especially reading how either buying, paying for or asking to order another glass of wine was date-speak for whether it was going well or not.
I’m no longer in the dating scene, but remember those moments all too well even though I’m male and on the other end of the wine lingo. Those posts remind me of Alanis Morissette songs
“I’m not brave enough to actually date.” That is what you actually said. As for not going to a “dating service,” with roughtly 32,000 hits on your blog and posts like this, I think ur doin it.
cremello, Um um um…
ccoriale, I agree Alanis ia super cool! My date speak is slightly different: If I like someone I bumble or look away a lot. Sometimes I giggle or fidget. I get way to nervous if I like someone a lot, have been known to knock things over. If I dislike someone it is generally obvious since it takes a lot to make me not at the very least like someone as a person. I may not be feeling the chemistry, but I tend to enjoy myself regardless..in fact if I am relaxed I am pretty much assured to be not feeling it, cause when I do , as I mentioned I tend to get clumsy and not able to look them in the eye.
Bonnie, talking about men and being single is easy on a blog..Actually acting like a girl and going on an actual freaking date? TERRIFYING!
Ps. I do not see anyone knocking on my blog door here!
But you’re certainly advertising that you’re available! There is no question there!
(sigh)
