Peeps Appreciation Day!

I realized today that I have many people in my life that I don’t often get the chance to tell how much they mean to me..so to that end here goes!

Zen: Ever since the day I met you I have never once had to ask for support from you, you give it freely and in abundance! You have an intelligence that blows my mind. A wit that makes me laugh my cares away, and a deep and loving soul that understands me so well that I cannot help but think of you as one of my closest friends on-line. We just click as friends and I am completely looking forward to meeting you in 8 days!

Bonnie: I have known you through 3 blogs woman! We just seem to gravitate to where the other is. You are the voice I need to hear when I am being panicky and a wee bit stubborn. You are also the only one who can do it without making my stubborn goat butt it’s head (how do you do that, and how can I keep you from teaching the others? giggle)

Sensa: What can I say? of all the men I admire (and I admire a lot of them) you are one of the ones I know I can count on. Integrity is your first, middle and last name. Every day I learn something new about you and it is always something interesting! When I need honesty I turn to you, when I need a bit of irish wit, I turn to you..when I need someone to listen to something completely crazy and not think I lost my mind (or at least not question it aloud) I turn to you. I can’t wait to one day meet you..and those curls of yours!

Bryan: The flirt will be on your tombstone love. I can always count on you to calm me down and remind me that I am the Quirky chick, and that means I am able to overcome anything. Your faith in me humbles me often and your ability to know just what will make me laugh is almost scary in it’s accuracy. I enjoy the subtle fatherly advice you toss my way as well as the boost you often give to my ego..(rolls eyes) you do that often. When I need someone to startle me out of the blues, I know just who to turn to.

Chris: If you ever stopped torturing me with ice cream and eclairs I would miss it. (How cracked is that?) I love your sense if humor and your faith in things always coming out right in the end. You stubbornly refuse to let me give up on anything I want for my future, even when I really want to myself. You have a great singing voice and a lot of creativity!

Mayank:  Mayank, dreamy, introspective and supportive. You are one of my kindest and most thoughtful friends. When I need a soft place to rest my head you are there with a pillow! What a kind friend you have been to me. Even with India being so many hours ahead, you always find time to say hello! You cheer me up with just a word or two. You are a true poet and I admire your work very much. Your recent work is showing even more of your vulnerable side and (WOOO is it hot in here or what?) the recent ones are a must read for anyone who needs something sinful in the way of poetry…(big grin). I know that when it comes to gentle men I have found one in you for certain.

Charlotte and Mike: I think of the two of you as the same thought, the same heart, you are such loyal friends and I am always excited to hear from you both. Elegance is the word I think of when I imagine you. I know that one day I will have to meet you in person, it’s just required! I think of you Lottie as my sister and Mike as my brother-in-law, to have two such fine people in my life is just such a blessing! Mike is the first person I met on WordPress and I will never forget the way we met! He impressed me as an amazing person even then, when I met Charlotte I learned why, lucky Mike, lucky Charlotte, Lucky, Lucky Bekki!

Jenine: Wow, a woman who speaks her mind! I love it! When I need a dose of determination I go to your blog girl! When I think of you I think of a strong, Independent person who knows who she is, what she wants, and where to go to get it! Did i mention I love watching your vids? Cause, I do!!!

Shay: You are my Shay! The best and brightest person I ever met, and I have known you longer than anyone else, mostly cause you are my sister..(grin) When I think about someone who never gives up, I think of you. When I need someone who knows the me of the past, present, and future and knows just what to say to get me to WAKE UP! It’s you I turn to. You know all my secrets and all my dreams. How can I not love you? You have the sweetest heart and most giving soul of anyone I ever met and I get to call you sis. (Though I prefer to call you My Shay..(grin) Ps. Remember Shawn Shannon? (heh heh)..I still say you should have married him…it would have been freaking hilarious!

Gary: I am never going to figure you out man, and I am so very glad about that. When I read your work I am captivated by the gentle way you express yourself. I like that you lay bare your soul in the pages of your novels. This is what will one day make you famous..mark my wee words! I also like that you’re not afraid to skewer me with english wit and intellect. Always a pleasure, truly!\

Selena: You have humor, spunk and courage to spare and I admire your commitment to your faith, family and yourself very, very, much! You always have a song or insight you are willing to share and it always makes me smile to recieve a comment from you. When I think of a really good mom and wife I look at you and Lottie. Your love for them shines and I am lucky to get to read about it in your blog every day.

Selma: Wow, Selma..you are one of the best writers I have ever read. Anyone who wants to read really awesome fiction needs to read some of your work. You and Gary really need to meet! When you write in my blog it’s always something that makes me smile or think. I love reading your blog because like me you insert a lot of yourself into the things you write. It’s always a pleasure and I hope to learn more as time goes on!

Paul: Whenever I get a comment from you I get a smile. You have terrific insight and your poems and writing are wonderful things to behold. Seriously, when you comment on my poems I see things even I didn’t notice. When I go to your blog to read some poetry I am transported to witty, creative and downright wonderful heights. Seriously, how did such an intelligent guy get so poetic? I am just glad you are.

Oz: Ozzie, Ozzie, Ozzie…your poetry has me covering my eyes (from surprise and sometimes shock) and holding my stomach (from the giggles you invoke)..sometimes one, sometimes the other..and once in a while both at once. Your work always makes me think..though the Unicorn one had me…um…blushing to be quite honest…heh. When you comment on my work I know I am going to get a real solid review on what you see in my work. The poem about your wife..(you know the one I mean) Love it. One of my all-time favorites!

I love my peeps! They each give me something to grow on. They support me, encourage me, inspire me…and they let me call them my peeps! I am blessed..truly blessed to know each and every one of them!
