Since I worked for DAK for a lot of years I have seen African animals up close and personal, but never the way they are portrayed by Nick Brandt. He captures the true spirit of an animal. It’s in the stance and elegant curves of his photos. I love that he uses black and white photos to bring the subjects into sharper focus. I love that the emotions of these animals is clearly seen and felt when viewing his work. The love of his art shines through on every single photo. This one is my favorite, I hope he doesn’t mind my posting it with a link to his site. Since I love Giraffes this one spoke quite loudly to me. I am sure Mike (Hi, Mike–waves) My elegant poster will love this as he was just speaking about these lovely creatures in his blog. Here is the link:

I can’t afford such lovely work but if you have the means I highly recommend getting one before he becomes such a hit you can’t afford him. He is featured in stumbleupon.com (which is how I found him) and getting lots of interest.
